Stowarzyszenie Wydawcow Polskiej Niezaleznej Prasy Lokalnej (SWPNPL). The chief publishers and editors-in-chief of over 20 biggest private local papers (whose total weekly circulation is over 259 thousand copies) in Poland are the founders of this association. Its aims ¶ the integration of Polish private local papersê publishers, their organisational and economic reinforcement, the protection against dishonest competition. The association also wants to undertake intensive lobbying and promotion activities to help private local papers.
